About Library: The central library has an area of 2174 sq. mtr. It has the facility of reading room, for students as well as faculty members. Subject wise separate sections are made and maintained for convenience of all. It consists of text books , reference books, e-books and periodicals, newspapers and journals , question papers, CDs etc. ordered and made available as per the demands and requirements of teachers and students. Library provides open access for books. Library also provides e – resources like INFLIBNET – N List . In addition to it, some of the departments have a separate departmental library to provide subject -wise books to the students.

Book Transaction System:- Card system is used in the library. Library Card is issued after registration of users. Working Hours: - 8.00 am. To 9.00 pm.

• Reference Service for outside members and researchers etc.

Rules Rules to be followed in Library:
1. Keep silence in the library.
2. Keep your bags on a rack outside the library.
3. Don’t enter in the library without identity card.
4. Don’t enter in the Book Section without permission.
5. Each student is issued two books on their Issue card.
6. Depending on the availability of the book and no. of copies, third book can be issued to the students.
7. For Merit Holder students library will Issue more than two books.
8. Handle the library books and other material carefully.
9. Readers will be charged fine as a whole or double amount of the market price of books if the book is lost.
10. If readers return the books late, late fee will be charged.
11. Switch off your Mobile Phone or keep in Mute mode while entering in the library.
12. Don’t use harsh ringtones. Don’t talk loudly on Mobile.
13. Arrangement of Books in cupboard as per D.D.C. (Dewy Decimal Classification System ) .
14. Subject wise, Reader should keep their books in the same section from where they have taken it.
15. In case of any problem or confusion, library staff is ready to help.
16. Keep the Library neat and clean.
17. Don’t throw the piece for papers, wrappers, and other waste in the library and reading room.
18. Library is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
19. Library will remain close only on public holidays.
20. If readers need books that are not available in the library, they should demand it book using demand slip.
21. Demand slip is kept in the Demand Slip Box.
22. Don’t bring inflammable things that cause fire.
23. Habits like chewing tobacco, smoking or other such injurious drugs or material is prohibited in library.
24. Don’t take a books before or without issuing on the counter.
25. In case of any problem regarding library service or availability of books, contact with library staff.
26. If satisfactory solution or answer is not given, directly contact to the librarian.
27. Use Mask while entering in the library.
28. Sanitize your hands and stand in a queue and keep a physical distance while issuing or checking the database or in book section.
29. Shut down the computer after use.
